We are proud to announce that the Ambient Library and the Web browser plug-in are now open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL) v3 or later.
The open source version comes with the Web browser plug-in and the AmbientLib inclusive a simulation device drivers. Please note that due to licensing reasons the source code of the device driver responsible for rendering sensory effects on the amBX hardware is not included. The amBx device driver can be separately downloaded. Nevertheless, a sample device driver is included which shows how device drivers can be developed.
